I am going to take just three lenses with me to the trip. I need to travel light. It is going to be something like FA 50/1.7, Tamron 90/2.5 and a wide lens.

My wide lens options are: Sigma 18/3.5 or Pentax SMC 24/2.8. Which one to choose?

Anyone who has experience shooting specifically in London, please respond.

Just got back a couple of weeks ago. I spent two days walking through London with a collection of lenses including the FA28-105, A24/2.8, FA135/2.8, DA14/2.8, and A50/1.4. By far and away, my most used lens was the A24/2.8, second was the 28-105. I made some good photographs with all of them, but for people/street photos the field of view of the A24 was nearly perfect and it's a treat to use for focus by scale shooting.
