There are more than a few flawed arguments let alone the dismissal of technical
limitations in his article, none the less it's an interesting read but it's
just an opinion and you know everyone has one. Erwin is well known in Leica
circles as he as been privy to development and pre-release equipment from Leica
for many years plus he has written about the most informative and well
respected book on Leica lens development to date, the "Leica Lens Compendium"
ISBN: 189780217X.
He also used to be regularly involved in dialogue on Leica users list, beyond
that I can't offer much more information other than the fact that looking at
his work he is obviously technically skilled.
