Bergen? Jolly good. I work near Bergen, (live about 250 km away). The city is nice, very nice, and there is plenty of interesting nature in the area. And the people there? First class. Opinions on them vary a lot, I myself find them nice and friendly (a lot less abusive then myself). If you start talking with one of them, asking about the city, he will probably spend a week or two showing you around ;-) A typical "Bergenser" is very proud of his city.
