Rule (follow at your own risk): A little bit of tilt looks like poor photography.
A lot of tilt looks intentional.

I personally have a bit of a problem holding a camera level, but I do not have 
any problem with a bit of rotate and crop. In fact I usually plan on it when 
taking the photo and leave a bit of cropping room. Also I often compose 35mm 
with the plan of cropping one end or the other of the negative to fit an 8x10 
print (the grid screen helps there).

Although Knarf's actual problem is that he is so tall that he is often short of 
oxygen up there and thus dizzy... <do I need to put a grin here?>
