Another Norwegian.

If you look at the title of the page, it is Birdie. At least, it is on my system. I can't see a bird shape (birdie is a diminutive in English) or any other reason within the picture to call it that. So, I'm wondering if it is a name related to the geography or what? It's driving me insaaaaaane......

Never underestimate the power of stupidity in large crowds (Very freely after Arthur C. Clarke, or some other clever guy)

A good shot of something I see daily, without seeing it. Being native I'm kind of curious. Where is it?

Hi Tim,

Rogaland county,
Finnøy commune,
the island of Aubø. Picture is taken from a viewpoint at the top of Fåranipa on the

neighbouring

island Bjergøy.

Cheers,
Jostein
