[I'm catching up with the list, sorry to resurrect a two week old thread]

The photo I posted was of the istD sporting an Industar 50/3.5, which
has a 39mm thread. The adapter used in the photo was actually loaned
to me by Shel (I have to give it back to you, Shel, sorry). It is not
the right adaper though, because it changes the distance to the film
plane. I have since gotten the correct adaptor, which is just a
thread, 39mm on the inside, 42mm on the outside.
