I hope you he's right! A couple of months ago, Metz themselves told me it'd be to expensive for them to develope it. I answered that Sigma was selling their 500dg super like hot cakes because much cheaper than Pentax one and that if Sigma could deliver it there was really no good reason for beloved Metz no to do it.
