and you can shift that by using exposure compensation additionally, e.g. instead of taking 3 frames correct, over and under you can use the exposure compensation wheel to take over, much over and correct.

Very tricky, but one of the things about my MZ-S I'm still not quite sure if I like them, this is nowhere self-explaining...
