This is baffling. I have the EF-500 DG Super and have no complaints
about construction. It's built better than my old AF400 FTZ and the
wedding pro I worked with recently thought it seemed as well built as
his Canon OEM units.

It offers a lot more than the AF500 FTZ (P-TTL, wireless, high-speed
sync, etc.) and from reports I've heard on this list, much better
exposure accuracy than the AF360 FGZ.
