Tom,
eBay is strange. You may have to wait a very long time to get an MX for $75. Look at
Albano's list, it is a very popular camera and eBay is the hottest market. About $105
is as low as they are going to go for. Try the german auctions as the action seems to
be less over there. (Good pickings for Boz & Norm as many won't ship outside of
Germany!)
I think that things are generally pretty straight on eBay. The bidding is crazy and
often doesn't materialize until the last minute. It's a perverse psychology thing...
'I don't know what this thing is worth, but if he/she is willing to pay $xxx.xx, then
it must be worth x+$5!' Most knowledgable bidders learn the learn this lession early
and don't give the novices any idea of what final price will be until it is too late
for a reply. Otherwise the prices would be really high on ebay. (Somebody always has
deeper pockets than you do...)

I had a bid on a camera that sat at $56 for
around 2 days. All of the sudden now it has
jumped up to over $107. It's hard to believe
that no one else had bid on it for that long.
I realize that can happen and be totally
legitimate.
When I see it shoot up like that after little
action, it makes me suspect. Just call me paranoid.
