Luben, I really like your work -- this shot is excellent, and, as you

I have taken the photo in an abandoned building near Sofia. I was trying to show the light comming through the door and to outline the stairs. The scene contrast was very high so I have to make a comprimise - to overburn the light and develop the details on the stairs or to pay less attention on the textures but express the atmosphere. So this is the result. The picture is just scanned. I haven't even adjusted the levels - on the negative there are no more details. On other side it was shot on 15-20 years old film (ORWO NP15) that is very contrast. If I take the same picture on some more "soft" (Ilford for example) film there will be more detail on stairs stones and walls and I may be could preserve the atmosphere and the feeling.
