that was really blue.
I downloaded the file from PhotoNet and opened it in photoshop. There's almost no detail in the blue channel at all. The whole canvas is smooth except the highlights.
Did you, by any chance, use Tungsten white balance?

A couple of weeks ago I found myself heading to Dallas at 7am and 34,000 feet. This ridge of the Appalachian Mountains appealed to me, so I dug out the Optio 33L and took several shots.
After lots of work to restore something like the original contrast and color in PSE2, here is what I have:

Somehow, it lacks something. Any suggestions? Should one just forget about photos from airplane windows?
