the only alignment of Epson heads that a user can do is changing the timing 
of the droplet firing very slightly. that won't affect the firing of jets 
that aren't supposed to at all, which is what i see in the picture. the 
nozzles are etched and fixed in position..

I have a S9000 and it allows for alignment of the 5 colours and black. If
they are not aligned, banding occurs. The driver software has a utility
for checking and adjusting alignment.
