Well, in the old days guys used to stand around on street corners with a tripod mounted Speed Graphic and a sign that said "Your Photo -- 25 Cents". Now it seems to mean something different.

Ok, this is technically off-topic, but could be shoe-horned into any of the first three depending on the equipment used for said photography. Besides, if you're in a public place taking photos of people/events/scenes/whatever in same public place, I think it qualifies as "Street Photography". Unless it's posed. Then it's environmental portraiture. Of course, certain subjects could be documentary in nature........Jesus, man, that's just evil.
