Nate mentioned today that he wants a battery grip for his camera. It's not as cool or glamorous as a new lens or tripod, but at least it's something I know he wants, and I'm pretty sure he won't buy it for himself before Xmas. But thanks very much for all the great ideas! I still might pursue a couple of them as well. And, he has a birthday coming up in February, so I'll remember these ideas for then. :)
