Additional points to ponder:
It's not battery unless you're both arrested.
Because 2 or more cells makes a battery.
That's the current state of things. As long as you don't resist arrest.
But if you induce a person to act beyond his capacity, that's another story.
Either way it's a straight line with loss of gain into the pokey.
