I don't know about the Atlanta Constitution but on the web Wolf is 
advertising a *ist DS kit at that price and the *ist D body is $1399. It 
would have been a heck of deal...

Today's Atlanta Journal-Constitution newspaper included a sales flyer 
from Wolf Camera. It includes an advertisement for the *ist D with 
Pentax 18-55 zoom for $999.99 (or $999.95). That's the best price I've 
seen so far from a reasonably reputable dealer. TTYL, DougF KG4LMZ
