The istD isn't a high resolution camera, I think Rob calculated no more than 46 lpmm or some such.
I don't recall the system resolution formula off the top of my head, but it seems to me that system resolution is going to be somewhat less than the lowest performing component.
It wouldn't surprise me at all that system resolution in the range of 30 lpmm is all the istD will give,
