I have a zx-10 that is scratching film. Here's a sample...

I at first thought it was the photolab and that the problem was in
printing, and since the prints were only to be used as proofs I didn't
worry about it. After the second or third roll I changed cameras and the
problem went away. Took a look at the film for the botched prints and
sure enough, the film is scratched. Always a length-wise scratch, as in
the sample.

I can see nothing in the camera that'd do this. What might cause this,
and is there an easy fix? This camera's been on the shelf a few years.
Time to fix it or chuck it.

I suppose it's still possible it was the lab, but they woulda had to
have been doing it for a couple weeks.
