I have a zx-10 that is scratching film. Here's a sample... http://www.amyhughes.org/photography/anyaprecious/precious010.jpg
I at first thought it was the photolab and that the problem was in printing, and since the prints were only to be used as proofs I didn't worry about it. After the second or third roll I changed cameras and the problem went away. Took a look at the film for the botched prints and sure enough, the film is scratched. Always a length-wise scratch, as in the sample. I can see nothing in the camera that'd do this. What might cause this, and is there an easy fix? This camera's been on the shelf a few years. Time to fix it or chuck it. I suppose it's still possible it was the lab, but they woulda had to have been doing it for a couple weeks. Thanks, Amy
