I suspect there are getting to be enough cameras out there now.
When the best you could get was one or two MP, there was a ready market for improvement.
At 3mp, most consumers are getting the results they want, and have no need to make another purchase.
All of our equipment reps are smacking their lips in anticipation of Christmas this year, but I have a feeling there are going to be some long faces when the sales figures are finalized.
