You mean the 250-600/f5.6?   That *was* made for 35mm!

Cost is around $7500 or so new (street price).  I've seen a couple on
the second-hand market, most recently for something like $5000.

It weighs 5.5Kg/12lb at the start of the day (and that's without a
camera or any kind of support).  By the end of the day it weighs at
least twice that much :-(
