Also, if I don't go for a CLA, what's the best way to clean the focusing screen? I think a couple of specks may be above it too.. Doesn't affect the shots, but it sure is a tad annoying.

I just sent in my ME Super and Super A for a CLA (and because the SuperA was winding harshly). They came back spotless, including the finder screen, which is the cleanest I've ever seen. One came to $130 something, and the other was $160 something. Getting close to what the bodies themselves are worth, I suppose, but I thought it was money well spent. Went through Fletchers, who sent it away (to CR Kennedy? I don't know).
I guess the 5n might be slightly different but I wouldn't expect by much.
