I used the panoramic option on my Canon ELPH and didn't like it. I decided to avoid that option. The other two options are better. APS, remember, was a creation of camera and film makers to encourage more people to shoot pictures. I recall that Minolta had a special APS scanner for those people who were in to computers. Last summer my god daughter wanted to borrow a point and shoot camera from me. I said she could use a 35mm or APS. She requested APS.
