426 in a 24 hour period? That's not far off usual. As far as threading goes, I think it's best left up to your own e-mail service to do that. As Rob already said, you should be able to siphon off a bunch by filtering PAW, PESO, OT and the like into a separate folder - that should lower the count by a bit.
