If you remember correct, then this is rip off :). > Also, as I've said earlier, I came across a new MZ-6 at NOK 1898 a while > back - which I would rather buy, I think, since it has some > functionality the MZ-5 (as opposed to the MZ-5n) does not. E.g. there is > no DOF-preview on the MZ-5, is there? It is not that easy a choice. I have MZ-6 and it is good camera, but 1. it has no center-weighted metering (unless you mount pre-A lens) 2. it has no flash compensation 3. it has rather poor viewfinder But of course 1. MZ-6 is totally compatible with all Pentax lenses 2. It has faster shutter 3. It has support for newest Pentax flashes I think that in order to make an educated choice one would have to handle each of these cameras at least for one film worth of shooting and see for oneself :). Thanks to Jostein I had my hands on PZ-1 and MZ-S (both with grips)... And so my opinion of my MZ-6 is now rather low :). Fortunately I have some friends who talked some reason into my head... Though I admit to missing an opportunity to sell my MZ-6 and buy PZ-1p from the list... Life is tough on PDML, really tough :). Boris
