I just noticed something, well my story first, (you knew there had to be one).
Last night I decided to take a few night shots, so I grabbed my LX a camera support and, (here's my mistake), the dog's leash, and headed off into the night. On my ramble the dog decided to try to kill me, and possibly himself, by darting between my legs while we were walking, and after the fall, in front of traffic, (with the Dog yelling like I was actually killing him, although he appears to be entirely unharmed), I collected my scattered equipment and took stock. I managed to cushion the camera until it was only inches from the ground so damage was relatively minor, dented the filter ring on the lens just a little and scraped the right rear corner of the LX. I was surprised to see what looks like titanium, not brass under the black paint. I was wondering if anyone knew if all LXen shells are made with titanium and if not when they started. Lest anyone think this is a special edition, it isn't, I just bought it as a regular LX made before any of the limited editions were announced.
