Bob, after a recent visit to China (and Hong Kong) my impression is that digital is definitely flavour of the month. Almost everyone I saw was using P&S style digitals: in our tour group, there were only two film cameras at all - the other 11 were digital. The Chinese themselves in both countries love having the latest toys, and I suspect that film processing will become rarer in China more quickly than anywhere else - not impossible to find, mind you, but not everywhere. If they take up digital cameras as rapidly and as universally as mobile phones, I want to buy shares in the company that gets in and exploits the market!
