* Beautiful to look at and to hold - eenough said.
* Handles a bit better than the 50mm. The focusing ring isn't much wider, but with the serrated ring, the focus is easier to gently touch up with my fingertips.
* I can't tell any difference in sharpness between the two lenses, which is to say, both are pretty sharp.
* The difference in speed is hardly noticeable.
* The bokeh bothers me a bit though. If the out-of-focus regions have specular highlights, the bokeh is quite harsh and distracting. The bokeh on the 50mm is always lovely and creamy.
