RE: Wanted--*ist (Film) Camera Comments

I have a ZX-7 and just bought the *ist film camera to replace it believe 
it or not.  Not that I wasn't happy with the ZX-7 but the *ist has some 
features that I want that the ZX-7 doesn't have.  I'm slowly moving up 
the "food chain" with my lenses and recently ordered FGZ 360 flash and 
eventually will will get a MZ-S.  (For some weird reason I'm dedicated 
to film, and I'm in the demographics for digital, go figure?)

Yes the inability to easily use pre-"A" lenses sucks, but I can live 
with it for now.  (I've got FA 24-90, FA 50 1.7, F 70-210, and a 
recently purchased FA 20mm)  It's small, light weight, and easy to use.  
I do have the Battery Grip which makes it nicely balanced for me.  The 
only complaint I have is the placement of +/- AV button, just not 
convenient for my hands, but that's the only complaint besides the lens 
compatibility issue.

So that brings me to, anyone interested in purchasing a ZX-7 with FA 
28-80 lens?  Very good condition there are extras with it.  Also have a 
few extra Pentax brand lenses to get rid of.  If interested contact me
