for those of you who want to follow the Scrabble action once the tourney starts on Sunday you can go to http://www.scrabble-assoc.com/tourneys/2004/nsc/index.html There is usually a bit about it in the news on Sunday night, too. I'll be playing 30 games in Division 2 (of 7 divisions !) and will consider I've done well if I win more than I lose - prize money or no. I'm not really booked up and will be playing on my experience. Before and after the tourney I'll be roaming the area a bit hitting thrift stores and avoiding tourists. Thinking of reading John McPhee's "The Control of Nature" on the plane. :) got my bag, got my insect repelant...
