Welcome to the list.
Thanks.
Maybe that would make sense, but I really like the 100-300 as it looks like it's brand new, and it's also very light. Same weight as the 28-80, actually. I know absolutely nothing about the optical quality, as I've only taken about 4 pictures with it, on a film that's still at the lab.TL> * A MZ-20 body TL> * An ME Super body TL> * A 28-80mm (power)zoom - you know, the one a lot of people seem to TL> hate. I think I would keep both 50 mm lenses since I really like them. I have 3 myself, one though being third party.
It think I would let go 28-80 and 100-300 lenses and keep the rest.
As for the 28-80, I actually nearly bought a used A-35-80 today, only I didn't as I thought it was a bit on the expensive side. If I had, I would definitely have tried to sell the 28-80. Do you think that would have been a good decision? Did I ask that question already?
For the money that you could get I would try to go after 28 mm lens or
even 24 mm lens.
Yes. I've considered something like that.
Actually, that's just what it looks like because my original mail wasn't quite clear. The 28-80 and 100-300 are autofocus, the rest manual. Then you would have 24 (or 28), 50 mm and 70-210 covered.
I can say nothing about A 150/3.5 as I am unfamiliar with it.
Since you don't have any autofocus optics perhaps you could also sell
your MZ-20. Or instead you could look for FA 28/2.8 to use along with
this body...
I don't mind manual focus, but an autofocus body is sometimes nice with those lenses, too, as you still get the "in focus" indicator in the viewfinder.
Just my cents.
