Hi Shaun...

Actually just sold the MF version of this lens (I believe the AF/MF versions
are the same optically) to make room for the DA 16-45. Optically, the lens
is decent, and the build quality, while nothing to get excited about,
certainly won't crumble to dust when you're not looking. All in all, I think
it delivers fair performance for the price.

Here are some examples for you to judge on your own:

+ Everything on this page was taken with the lens at 19mm and probably close
to wide open:

+ This one was probably taken at the 35mm end, probably f16:

+ Probably wide end, f16. The corner fall-off is much more noticeable:

Just out of curiosity, how was the performance of your Tokina?
