Hello Rob, This is something that I am very interested in - basically trying to nail down a great lens for group portraits (weddings/families) that really holds the details as well as the *istD can. I currently have an FA *24/2.0 and am not entirely happy with it. The focal length is about right, but just doesn't seem as sharp as I thought it would be - I'll need to do some more tests myself, but certainly any other tests with lenses around that focal length are more than welcome.
