I myself prefer to work alone. I have had enough of the roughing between PJs trying to capture the same moment for their respective papers of e.g. a President shaking hands. Well, some PJs are friendly, and some are not. And of course any good photographer doesn't want to take the same photographs as the others.
In fact, it's considered really bad manners when you shoot the same scene behind the first one's shoulder (unless it's the type of situation like Presidental shake, where everybody just wants to have the same picture to deliver to his editors, there it's different, and we often took turns with the other friendly PJs shooting from some good place). And for something more documentary or personal, I am all solitaire. Frantisek "Lone" Vlcek Vlcek means somethink like Wolf in my native language :)
