One thing to bear in mind in all this is that film SLRs are still selling quite well - second-hand, and that is one of the reasons new ones are selling so badly. Loads of ME Supers change hands on Ebay every week, along with a sprinkling of Z1s and Z1-Ps at pretty good prices. No doubt a few Canons and Nikons are selling, too.

People can see which way the wind is blowing, and don't want to splash out a lot of wonga on new cameras, but are quite happy to buy the cameras that the digital buyers are selling.

Hello PDMLers,

The homepage of the Hungarian Pentax importer (www.slach.hu) states
that MZ60 and *ist are the only 35mm Pentax SLR bodies in production,
the other models still in stock will run out this year.

Are they right?
