I have something called item 37325 "Infrared Remote Release Cord F" John Mustarde
The IR-F (37325) connects directly on the SF, PZ and MZ bodies. It won't fit on the motor LX. The IR-4P is the only one for the motor LX.
The 3P-IR could also be interesting for you JD, if you do have a winder LX and don't need the 5 im/sec. when shooting from a distance.
Just curious to know what kind of subject you will be shooting at a distance and how you resolved (if needed) the noise question...
