OK, thanks. So that means, when I combine your and my remarks, that auto on the *ist D works better then P-TTL and TTL.
I got the impression for a while it was only TTL that didn't work to well, but also P-TTL doesn't work very well. I really would like to see a firmware upgrade to address this shortcoming.
