I have the Pentax FA 50mm f/2.8 and A* 200mm macro lenses
and the Sigma 100mm f/2.8 EX autofocus macro lens.

While the build of the Pentaxes is better, the Sigma works
great too, image quality is fine, lots of contrast too.

The only thing I do not like about the Sigma is the
mechanism to switch between MF and AF, it is a clutch
built into the focussing ring (like the FA* lenses have)
but operation is too smooth. Just picking up the lens
from a camerabag will often change the setting.

Otherwise it is a great performer!

I have been using it a lot on the PZ1 and the MZ-S.

I also use it on the *ISTD, but prefer the 50mm in more
shots than with the film cameras. (75mm equivalent).

Regards, JvW
