Thanks, Boris,

I appreciate your comments. I've noticed that you must "save up" PAWs until you have the time to go through them and comment. It doesn't bother me one bit that it's some time after I've posted - quite the contrary, I think it's wonderful that you put forth the effort to comment on almost every one, if not every one. I know that for myself, doing so is an exercise that I think improves my work (such as it is... <vbg>).

Now, on to your comments. I agree with pretty much all of what you said. I personally really like both of them (despite the many technical flaws, but then I'm used to technical flaws <g>). I can't really choose a favourite, and I think that if they ever go up on a wall, it will be as a pair. I think that they work best together.

Since this is likely the last comment on this pair (except one that I await, possibly off-list, but I know it's coming <g>), thanks to everyone who commented. I didn't thank everyone individually to save bandwidth, so I'll thank you here...

cheers,
frank

Hi!

Frank, I am sorry I am a little late joining in here. I have
considerable back log of PAW images, again <sigh>...

I think I like the "Soap Carver" more than this one. This one is more
dramatic, at least to me. The little soap figure so much does not
belong in these hands... Nonetheless, the "Soap Carver" tells a sad
story while this one is seems to be missing some context. I suppose
that if they were displayed together, say on one web page (which I
know photo.net does not give, but still), they would match
excellently.

This is very strong emotional work of yours.

Boris
