Unfortunately, this falls into that category.
Maybe it's just me (probably is), but this just seems to miss the mark somehow. Can't see it's face, which might have helped. Since the camera's horizontal, you don't quite get the feeling of great height, or of the beast looming above you. There seems no feeling of being threateaned, which might have been what you were going for.
It may sound like damning with faint praise, but the exposure's good, and it's nice and sharp. <g>
Like I said, the rest just leaves me cold, though. Maybe I'm just not "getting it". Wouldn't be the first time... <vbg>
