Hi Mike ... They are "Tres Amigos" and appeared as stand-ins for Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, and Martin Short in the movies "Three Amigos." Actually, if you're familiar with the three movie stars, and you look carefully at these kids, you may possibly imagine them growing into three such likable fellows.
I'm in the process of making the final prints now, and i may try to lighten the background, but probably not. Everything back there is out of focus, and too much detail may well distract from Los Bandidos. We'll see ....
