I think you are right. The degree of sharpness loss that a format can take for any reason relates directly back to how many magnifications of enlargement that must be made from that format to make a viewable image. I have never said anything about camera shake factors with the smaller format, I just rail at the concept that a 50mm lens is really a75mm lens as soon as it gets stuck onto the istD William Robb
