Right off the top of my head, I imagine it would remove the competition from the red chairs on the left side of the frame ... I rarely shoot B&W; truthfully, not terribly fond of it. Many images bore me if they're in B&W (probably because I'm almost young??) But this composition doesn't NEED the colour, and as I say, I have been worrying about the competition from the chairs, so I'll look at that. ERN
