Possible Australian mini-PDML gathering(s)?

As I mentioned earlier this year, I will in southern 
Australia in late March through early April. I believe my 
wife will accompany me, but those details are still being 
resolved. My itinerary, reasonably firm:

27 Mar  arr Sydney
29 Mar dep Sydney, arr Adelaide
3 Apr dep Adelaide arr Melbourne
4 Apr dep Melbourne arr Canberra
8 Apr dep Canberra for home via Sydney
I will happily provide an excuse for a local PDML gathering 
anyplace along the way.

Note that my current scheduled time in Melbourne is little 
more than a one night's layover between arrival by train and 
departure by plane. I am still working on that leg of the 
journey...as scheduled it does have the advantage of an 
extra half day or more in Canberra.

I regret that I will miss the obvious attractions of 
Brisbane, Queensland etc. Maybe next time.
