Very possibly. I still wouldn't trust it. I like things a bit overkill if poss. You should see the straps for cameras and tripod! Most of my gear has dual usage. I have a stinking great metal cover that hangs off the back of my Betacam: 2 reasons. One, when we switched to different batteries, they were much lighter in weight, even doubled up with 2 of them. I fashioned some metal plating that sits on the back and top of the attached batteries thus balancing the camera better when on the shoulder (I like it back-heavy so you're always pulling down on the front, instead of always supporting the front). This metal plating also serves two other functions: it supports a box of tricks that needs to hang off the back when plugged into the satellite truck for live OBs, and also it's a great place to place a mug of tea when shooting long boring interviews on the tripod...
