Well, John, Sony (I think) already makes one for TVs, stereos, etc. I think it's a "learning" remote, so it could possibly be set up to send the right codes for the camera. I believe that it also can put a "script" on each button, but I'm not familiar enough with it to know if it will do what you want. I do know that it usually goes for US$ 150-200 around here, so it's a little pricey. TTYL, DougF KG4LMZ
