Until only a few hours ago I thought exactly the same thing, but then someone (in another thread) pointed out that the cost of a FF digicamera would be prohibitive to practically all of the current Pentax K customer base. I suspect Pentax would have a much larger potential for a 24x36 chip based camera if it was directed towards their 645 customer base. Cheers, Jostein
