Hi all,
I finally received the above glass from the US!! However,
I didn't have much time today, and moreover it was raining...
Still, I just checked it with a roll of film, and found
that it is excellent!! The light condition was poor due to
the rain, but it renders colours very well.

Couldn't check its flare control and performance with wide
open, but now I love this lens!!
I also have A50/1.7 and know it IS good, too. 50/1.7 is
really compact.
The superiority of 50/1.4 over /1.7 is that it makes the
finder view much brighter. Especially with the new screen
on my LX, it's really a pleasure to focus!!
