I am one who eagerly wanted to get the *istD only to be disappointed that it would not offer full compatibility with older K and M lenses as my PZ1-p does. I no longer think of myself as owning any new Pentax equipment. As long as film is around, I will continue to use my current film based Pentaxes fully. Frankly, I think the way to go is Canon.
