The first time I heard a sound grab of a camera in action was for the Canon EOS-1 RS, which runs at around that rate (or even a little faster). I'm not sure if this was from the Canon website, or from dpreview.com And that's from a film camera, too, which also has to advance the film. But at least the RS didn't have to bounce the mirror up and down.
